Warranty

The GATORZ (Non-Prescription) Warranty Covers:

  • Frames: GATORZ will repair or replace any aluminum frame returned by the original purchaser determined to be defective in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the frame. GATORZ’ warranty program does not cover scratched lenses, accidental damage, routine wear and tear, or lost or stolen items.
  • Lenses:  GATORZ covers lens manufacturing defects outside of scratches due to normal wear and tear. If your lenses are scratched, please visit our lens replacement page here.
  • GATORZ Nose Pieces:  GATORZ will replace defective nose pieces. You can request a repair kit for self-repair here.

*Styles and colors are subject to change, a comparable replacement may be sent in lieu of the original style or color.

 

The GATORZ (Prescription) Warranty Covers:

Gatorz will honor our lifetime frame warranty for the life of any aluminum prescription frame purchased from GatorzCanada.com. All prescription lenses are produced and installed by our partner optometry lab. Gatorz will extend the same warranty policy on manufacturer defects that our partner lab offers on prescription lenses.

  • Lens cracking, delamination, lens popping out, and anti-reflective coating issues covered for a 2-year period
  • Mirror coatings are covered for a 1-year period
  • Lab errors are covered for a 90-day period. This includes applying the wrong color mirror coating and/or fabricating the incorrect prescription
  • Incorrect prescriptions or doctor errors in writing the prescription are not covered
  • Scratched lenses due to normal wear and tear are not covered
  • Accidental damage, lost or stolen items are not covered

If your frame does not qualify for a warranty replacement, you can utilize our Prescription Trade-In Program by trading in your frame for a discount off a new one by clicking here. All warranty questions for prescription eyewear purchased outside of GatorzCanada.com should be referred to the supplier directly. 

Gatorz.com and prescription.gatorz.com are the only authorized and warrantied Gatorz Eyewear prescription suppliers. Gatorz does not honor third-party prescription warranty claims. Gatorz will honor the frame lifetime guarantee but will not be responsible for reinstalling customers' personal third-party prescriptions.
